Rain delays mango harvest as Guatemala loses competitiveness

Guatemala has two regions that produce mango: the east and the coast. In the coast, this season can be qualified as regular to good, as there were some rains in November, and this makes it that the flowering of the plant and the harvest is delayed. When this happens, the crop overlaps with the one in the South of Mexico, making Guatemala lose that windows that it would have if the crop was sooner.
