According to a recent study made by Procolombia, the government´s export promotion agency, Middle Eastern countries bought 80% of Colombian beef exports in the first months of 2020. Between January and March, Colombia exported USD 25,6 million, a 45% growth compared to the same period in 2019. Lebanon (27.7%), Jordan (18,7%), Lybia (14,7%), UAE (9,5%), Egypt (7,1%) and Saudi Arabia (3,9%) were the top buyers for this period.
