Dried potato chips are increasingly in high demand not only in the local market but also in neighboring countries. This makes potato farmers begin to deepen the technology of making dried potato chips in addition to only selling fresh potatoes. Potato chips that are processed can last up to 18 months, making farmers think they do not have to worry about the product being damaged if there are not many orders in the early stage. Potato chips from Malaysia are currently exported to countries such as Vietnam, Australia, and Dubai. According to suppliers with 5tonnes potatoes that are processed daily can give revenue up to RM300k / month.
