Excessive rainfalls to negatively impact the chickpea yield in Sudan

Sudan annually produces around 12 KMT of chickpeas however this year the chickpea yield is expected to be badly affected by the wet season and intensive rainfalls, impacting negatively the crops.
With the low yield expectation, consecutively chickpea prices are expected to increase as well.
