In Vietnam, farmers usually harvest cinnamon in 2 batches: the first one starts from March to April and the second one lasts from September to November. The main reason is that during these two periods, cinnamon bark is easy to peel off and contains the most essential oils. This year, due to unfavorable weather conditions, there was a delay in peeling, so the amount of cinnamon harvested is not much for the March to April harvest. However, the cinnamon volume is expected to increase in the next 2 months as the weather conditions improve.
