Snapper catch numbers are being reduced to a big-time low in New Zealand because of COVID 19 lockdown in Australia and the US.
Australia and the US are the biggest New Zealand export market for Snapper as the fish has been in high demand within the people and the hospitality industry.
The processing business is looking forward to seeing more catch once the situation gets normal and stable.
