Demand for agro-commodities increase in Myanmar after the Corona virus outbreak

Due to the threat of the COVID-19 outbreak, local people are busy buying grocery products and food for stock up. Thus, trading is active at the domestic Yangon Wholesale Market at the moment where the delivery truck's movement have risen three to four times than the normal period. The majority of agro-commodities include garlic, onion, chili, potatoes, rice, cooking oil and salt. The price is expected to increase slightly because of the increasing domestic market's demand.
