Vietnam becomes ones of the main importers of Myanmar garlic after the new ASEAN trade agreement

The season of Myanmar garlic starts in March and the highest production period is mid-April. The majority of garlic plantation is found in hilly mountain regions of Shan States. Previously, Myanmar garlic exports highly depended on the Chinese and Bangladesh markets via border trading. After the new trade agreement of ASEAN countries, Vietnam becomes one of the highest purchasing countries of Myanmar garlic.
