After halting all food exports, Jordan establishes a new scheme that partly resumes export. Dairy products can be exported unconditionally. Meat, canned food, and dry fruits that are produced locally can be exported up to 50% of total production. Reexport remains halted to cater to the local consumption of products such as rice and sugar. The new scheme comes with a new licensing process that could slow down all future deals.
