Most suppliers from Sarawak and Sabah Province prefer to export their fruits and vegetables including lime, bell pepper, mango, durian, and passion fruits to Brunei instead of the Malaysian peninsula. This is because the cost to transport to the peninsula is much higher than the export to Brunei. Therefore, they get to keep huge margins.
