While cashew production peaks in Nigeria, Benin, Ghana, and Guinea, harvest in Ivory Coast has been slow but it is expected to intensify in the coming weeks. The influx of foreign buyers across producing countries in West Africa is low as a result of the COVID 19, demand remains below supply and prices continue to fall.
