Australian Chia Seed growers promoting organic production in Uganda

Large Australian growers of Chia have been establishing projects to boost production of organic Chia seeds in Uganda after discovering ideal conditions for the cultivation of Chia in the country favoured by the country being positioned just above the equator offering sufficient sun rays for growth of the Oil Seed.

Australia is the largest producer of Chia in the world and its Chia producers have found Uganda to be an ideal producer and now they are establishing projects and collaborating with farmers on best practice and methods for organic production of Chia Seeds in the country.
