After palm oil second priced commodity for Malaysia will be Bamboo

Since the size of the global bamboo market is huge with almost US$ 70 Billion per year, the Malaysian ministry is exploring bamboo opportunities as another future commodity in addition to various other commodity products. However, Bamboo will not replace palm oil as the main commodity of the country because even though the land in Malaysia is suitable to plant bamboo, there is still a lot of research for bamboo plants to be done and will take some time.
