The European Commission has come up with an urgent aid plan to rescue suffering agricultural sectors in Greece badly hit by the consequences of the Covid-19 outbreak and its negative effects within the EU. The aid from the European Commission has created a plan to subsidize companies from various agricultural sectors with up to €100K and companies from fishery and aquaculture sectors to receive a subsidy of up to €120K. Greek businesses are badly hit due to the shutting down of hotels and restaurants and Greek farmers are obliged to dispose of their products and the aid is coming as a great rescue plan to save Greek businesses from bankruptcy.
