The Minister of Agriculture Rodolfo di Zea announced that import tariffs for corn, sorghum and soybean are suspended until June 30th, with the possibility for extending for three more months. Colombia is a large importer of these products and the local production doesn´t have capacity to respond to the domestic demand. Therefore, the suspension of tariffs would help the country in guaranteeing the supply.
