Huge demand of Somalian goat in Middle Eastern market

The Demand for Somali beef and goat is growing, especially for goat meat which is said to be sweeter and less fatty than goats from other parts of the East Africa region. In 2015, Somalia exported a record 5.3 million livestock products worth $360 million to markets in the Middle East. The sector has been contributing a lot to the growth of the country's export value and GDP.
