COVID19 impacts the export of fruits and vegetables in Vietnam

Export of fresh fruits and vegetables from Vietnam are impacted by the spread of COVID19 pandemic. One of the main markets for the fresh produce was China which witnessed a reduction of 60.8% reduction in the market share.
Fruit and vegetable export to China in the first 4 months of this year only reached the US $ 745.1 million which is approximately 29.2% less than last year.
Although exports to Thailand, the United States and Japan have increased sharply but. it was unable to compensate for the reduced market share of China.
