Lobsters produced from the gulf of Mexico are mainly supplied to the local hospitality industry, but due to lock down in the country, 99% of hospital sector is currently closed for business.
Also, 45% of lobsters from this region are exported to Asia, Europe and north America, and unable to extend to more offers due to lack of shipping lines and expensive freight costs
