Fishermen in the Philippines are asking assistance from the government and IT companies to sell products abroad

Filipino fishermen are finding ways to export groupers and other marine products even during the Covid-19 pandemic. They are asking for help from the government or different IT companies to be able to market their products through the internet as face to face transactions are discouraged. The Philippine Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources is trying its best to give assistance to the fishermen by conducting training and technical assistance to those who are unfamiliar in doing online selling and also providing monetary assistance to fishermen who are struggling due to the closure of businesses.
