Dominant Moroccan flat and fillet bean varieties

The dominant bean varieties this year for flat beans are Estefania Fascine and Faiza and for the fillet beans: Paulista, Salamanca, and Morallida, it should be noted that the Salamanca variety production has decreased in the last three years due to the scarcity of its seed and that the Paulista variety is more in demand for export with better prices compared to the Salamanca variety.
Regarding diversification, new varieties with more resistance were introduced to the market, besides, an increase in dark green varieties for the Helda type is also registered.
