In Myanmar, the production of dried chili and chili powder mainly takes place from March to May when it is the dry season and it is less humid and need less storage requirement. Chili processing factories can use solar drying methods to save costs to produce their value-added products. However, in the rainy season (June to September), they have to invest more facilities to dry and process. During this time, the price of dried chili and powder is usually higher.
