Restrictions of goods in order to contain COVID-19 may result in major disruption

The production season of most crops in Nigeria is between April to June. Inflation and food scarcity is expected if new regulations are not implemented to ensure the safety and movement of small holder farmers in production areas across Nigeria.
The stay at home order, restriction of goods and people by the government in order to contain the spread of COVID-19 across several states in Nigeria could cause disruption in crop production.
