Turkey's cow milk production has increased by 3% in the month of April compared to the previous year and went up by 5.4% in the first 4 months of 2020. The average fat content is reported to be 3.5% and the protein content is on average 3.3%.
The milk produced for commercial consumption has also increased by 13% and reached 147 kmt. Total commercially produced milk volume has increased in total by 12% in the first 4 months of 2020 and reached 570 kmt.
Turkey's cow milk powder production has gone up by 18% whereas cow cheese and butter production increased by 7% and 5% respectively.
