Agricultural industry exempted from lockdown in India

Union Government of India, on the 15th of April, exempted all agricultural activities and supporting activities related to agricultural and marine product operations from imposed lockdown restrictions.
This time of the year is the peak harvest time in the country, therefore to not let crops get deteriorated and supply affected, harvest activities and procurement of goods from farmers and farm associations have been exempted from lockdown.
