47% of Bulgarian farmers have informed through a survey conducted that they are badly affected by the state of emergency consequences of the Bulgarian state.
Most affected sectors are fresh fruit & vegetable growers and livestock breeders.
The survey has been conducted with 722 farmers and almost half of the same farmers pointed out that they have been badly affected overall.
The majority of the surveyed agricultural companies are concerned that sales are critically dropping, employee retention and regular payment of wages, seeking new sales opportunities, collection of payments, maintaining a flawless production process, and the need for a new business model.
