Food price trends in Iran in the past year

Food prices in Iran have increased in the past year. The biggest price rise was seen in apples by 24.6% followed by rice with a 15.8% increase and chicken meat with a 12% increase. There were a few food products which witnessed a decline in the prices. The biggest price decline has been seen in onions which fell by 23%, tomatoes with a fall of 21% and chicken eggs which fell by 2.2%.
