Peruvian exports affected by Covid-19

Due to COVID-19, Peruvian exporters expect 18 months of contraction in exports and about 17 months to recover. Local associations ask the Goverment to increase the Drawback up to 10% to reduce the impact of over costs that makes them less competitive.

It is also concerning that the economies of the most important peruvian buyers will also be struggling this year as reported by the International Monetary Fund (IMF): USA (-6%), Spain (-8%), Italy (-9%) and Germany (-7%) and China with a very small growth of 1.2%
