The season of bear leek has started in the forests of Hungary, where citizens can pick up to 2 kilograms/person/day of it for free. The leafs of the plant can be easily mistaken with those of the Lilly of the valley, which is very poisonous, so the experts suggest rubbing the leafs to be able to tell the difference. The usual collecting season for the wood garlic takes place from the end of March to the beginning of April.
