Indonesian chicken hatching eggs exported to Philippines to revitalize Filipino live chicken supply

Recently, a number of chicken egg manufacturers in Indonesia that are coordinated by the Ministry of Trade have conducted an export for chicken-hatching eggs to the Phillippines. This export was a response to the demand from the buyers in the Phillippines who are currently trying to revitalize and improve the national chicken meat industry in their country that has been heavily hampered by the coronavirus pandemic that very much lower down its collective production capacity. The total export volume that was sent on the first stage was 100 MT in April with the option to add another 100 MT in May 2020.
