Because many fruit and vegetable suppliers facing business loss due to MCO COVID-19, the association sent letters to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry and the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (Fama) seeking a solution. This is because while the ministry has allowed the supply of fruit in the domestic market during the MCO, the ministry's restrictions on transportation on the road have prevented truck drivers from going out to pick fruit and vegetables. The farmworkers also did not work when the MCO made the supply out of reach to the end-user.
