Iran eyes to up meat production to further reduce imports

Iran produced almost 860 KMT red meat during the last fiscal year.
Cattle animals in the country made up around 60% of the total red meat production which is a positive move forward towards decreasing the import dependency in the near future.
The country expects to up the production output by at least 2% and reach 880 KMT by the end of the current fiscal year.
