Fishermen are hindered by government regulations and covid-19 pandemic to export giant clams

Recently, giant clams are not being exported as much from the Philippines because of the Covid-19 pandemic. For the past years, the Philippines has been exporting products to China, but currently, that is not the case as fishermen would rather sell to local buyers as there is scarcity in the supply of food in other towns and regions in the Philippines due to the lockdown.
