Despite the rise of sugar output, Brazilian sugar domestic prices have risen by 14% since mid-may low this year when the harvest/producion season started, creating pressure over the food industry supply chain. Local candy and confectionary manufacturers are complaining about the unexpected price rise in one of the main input of their business.
