Majority of Canadian sea cucumber is shipped to Asia

The majority of Canadian sea cucumber production is destined for Asian markets including China, Hong Kong, and Thailand. The unique texture of sea cucumber has not caught on in the domestic market but harvesters have seen consistent demand in Asia year over year and and export over 90% of their production there.
