Taiwan and South Korea have made antitoxin testing parameters and chemical levels in imported agricultural produce very stringent.
Although Indian exporters of grains, fruits and processed agricultural products want to explore these 2 East Asian markets but due to very high testing parameters and result levels, finding it very tough to export.
Sometimes, cargoes are rejected, therefore exporters are avoiding regular exports to Korea and Taiwan even though they see the demand and potential of Indian products quite high.
