Morocco exported some 64 million kilograms of peppers to Spain in 2019, making it the number one supplier to Spain. The Kingdom alone shipped 86.82% of the total volume of peppers imported by Spain in 2019.

Moroccan pepper exports to Spain have increased 210% in the past decade, from 20.66 million kilos in 2010 to 64.11 million kilos in 2019. Thus, the value of sales of this agricultural product in 2019 increased by 189.11%, going from 21.49 million euros paid in 2010 to 62.13 million euros in 2019
