Ethiopian suppliers trying to avoid products controlled by ECX (Ethiopian Commodity Exchange)

Ethiopian Suppliers are targeting the export of fruits and vegetables as a solution to the problems of trading through Ethiopian commodity exchange (ECX). For products such as common beans, oilseeds, and pulses Ethiopian exporters are obliged to buy the products from ECX, not from producers directly, and the suppliers should buy at the price set by the Ethiopian commodity exchange (ECX). Due to those reasons Ethiopian Exporters are shifting to the export of other commodities such as fruits and vegetables as a solution.
