In order to keep the country secure against food shortages, the Colombian Government is actively monitoring prices of different products. In the latest report, the products that had seen an increase included batavia lettuce, common lemon, mangos, papayas, pineapples, plantain, green peas, tamarillo, carrots and onions. On the other hand, products with price decreases included Tahiti limes, mandarines, oranges, potatoes, beans, cassava and tomatoes.
