Iran generated $47 million revenue from fig exports last year

According to the Iranian Ministry of Agriculture, the country has exported 13,6 KMT of dried figs and generated $47 million of revenue during the last fiscal year, Mar '19 - Mar '20.
Annually, the country produces over 105 KMT of figs cultivated in a cultivation area extending over 59 K ha and nearly 40% of the total production is dedicated to dried fig production.
