Turkey's tea exports have increased by 51% in the 1st quarter of 2020 and reached 3.9 million USD. The export volume has risen up b 19% as well.
The top export destination for Turkish tea exporters was Belgium with an export volume of 1.5 million USD, followed by Northern Cyprus with 0.5 million USD and Germany with 0.42 million USD.
The city of Rize was the top tea exporting city in the country with 60% of tea exports coming from this city.
