Increased production yield expected in barley and wheat in Turkey

Wheat and barley harvest has started across many production regions in Turkey and the growers are expecting an increase in the production yield this season.

Wheat production yield is expected to increase by 5% to 20,500 kmt whereas barley production yield is expected to go up by 12% and reach 8,400 kmt. Rye production yield will similarly increase by 10% to 340 kmt whereas oat production will remain relatively the same at 265 kmt.
