National lockdown slows down local lettuce demand

A 21-day national lockdown ensued in Zimbabwe on the 30th of April and it has caused a reduction in lettuce demand in the local market. Demand is set to continue plummeting as restaurants and other food outlets are either closed or have reduced clientele. Producers fear that this could lead to reduced lettuce prices in the coming days.
