Dates exports fell by about 20 thousand tons

The volume of dates exports will decrease by about 20 thousand tons, at a value of about 150 million dinars, during the second trio of 2020, due to the repercussions of the Corona epidemic on the agricultural sector systems, according to what was presented during a working session on the dates sector at the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The working session highlighted that about 82 thousand tons of dates were exported, as of March 17, 2020, compared to 76 thousand tons in the same period of last season.
