Iranian fish and aquaculture production output stays strong in 2019

Iran produced 1.28 million tons of fish and aquaculture products during the Iranian last year, Mar '19 - Mar '20.
The country's production output stays strong especially in aquaculture farmed and wild-caught trout, shrimps, sturgeon, and caviar production.
Alongside the national production output, Iran has been able to increase the domestic consumption of fish and aquaculture products from 1 kg per capita in 1978 up to 13 kg per capita per year in 2019.
