Lobster and other seafood prices decrease sharply in Vietnam

These days, lobster, which is normally found in the traditional markets, is sold at such markets for about 2.13 USD / kg cheaper than the price a month ago. The price of fresh green lobster fluctuates around 26.43 - 27.71 USD / kg, down more than 10 USD / kg. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the demand for seafood products plunged as many suppliers are significantly reducing prices to attract consumers. Other types of seafood products are also facing low demand, causing most seafood prices to decline by around 30 - 50%.
