Melon harvest has started in the Kirikhan district of Hatay. The melons are known for their taste and the growers note that they are already receiving orders from Romania and Bulgaria.

Currently, the farm gate price is around 0.20 USD per kg. Last year, 42 kmt of melons were grown in Hatay and 26 kmt of them were grown in Kirikhan district.
