Malaysia does not produce fishmeal since the aquaculture industry is focusing to supply whole fish for food and demand in the country. Fishmeal is made from the bones and offal leftover from fish caught by commercial fisheries. Malaysia mostly imports fishmeal from Chile and the USA to supply to the local market.
