Bell Pepper Production and Variety

There is only one variety of bell pepper in Myanmar which is the green type. The green bell pepper is only grown in the Shan Region and its harvest season is from July to September. Due to the low harvest quantity, Myanmar needs to import bell pepper from neighboring countries such as Thailand and Vietnam to fulfill the domestic market.
