China tightens its borders causing delays in shipment

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, China has taken many measures to prevent further cases, which caused serious congestion at the border gates. Specifically, China now strictly regulates the drivers, not allowing drivers from Vietnam-infected provinces to enter China and only those listed on the Driving Team list are allowed to enter and exit the Chinese border. Vietnamese freight vehicles can only carry loading and unload cargo at designated yards at the border areas, and the border gates are only open for customs clearance 5 hours/day (8 am to 11 pm, afternoon from 12 to 14 pm), and not working on weekends and holidays.
