Production capabilities of net shelling machines

The leading cashew nuts processing countries at present are Vietnam, India and Brazil. Currently, the nut shelling capacity in Africa is limited as they use manual shelling machines which are either hand or pedal-operated. There is a substantial difference in the production capabilities of manual and automatic shelling machines. One worker can only cut up to 40 kg in nuts/shift while the automatic machines can go easily over 100 kg per hour.
